The timing of the wedding is there to suit the popularity of the royal family, something which is likely in the back of their minds when making a choice. More unconscious. Expect a new one in a few years, if the popularity index goes down :) Of course the BBC is biased in favour of the royals, they run the damn country! They have the power to sack people and give jobs to them. The royal family are boss in this tiny place. Yes, Colonel Gaddafi did have a point when he mentioned the rule of the royal family 'regime' over here. If it wasn't the royal family it would be politicians. This country is generally well run, apart from the obvious flaws which happen in many countries, like charging people to get cancer by smoking, and leaving few in poverty. The poverty over here is nothing like the poverty over in many places. Lots want to come here, I wonder why. Sure there are some bad points to the royal family, but all we can really see is good. A nice little country this one, for it's size. I doubt the 20% who do care about the wedding, and the royals themselves will give a toss about what the 80% and millions around the world think. The Queens grandson is getting married. See, they do normal things, like other people. [/B][/QUOTE]
